Parel Leads in Chile, Swafford 1 Back



Scott Parel is tied for the lead at The Chile Classic
Scott Parel held a share of the first round lead at The Chile Classic on the Nationwide Tour, thanks to a first round 7 under 65.  Parel, who shared the lead with James Nitties, is just a single shot in front of fellow Bulldog Hudson Swafford.  Swafford, who went out in 1 over par on his first nine, came home with a 7 under par 29 on his back nine to card a 6 under 66 and sit in a tie for 3rd.  Hudson's round included 2 eagles, as he played the 4 par 5's in 6 under par.
Paul Claxton fired a first round 2 under 70 and is tied for 38th.  Russell Henley is tied for 60th at 1 under and Richard Scott is tied for 95th at 1 over par.

Kisner in Top 5 in Puerto Rico

Kevin Kisner shot a 4 under par 68 in the first round of the Puerto Rico Open and finished the day tied for 4th.  Kisner, who is getting married next weekend in Athens, had four birdies and no bogeys on his card.  Brendon Todd fired a 2 under 70 and sits in a tie for 21st.  Erik Compton is tied for 34th after a 1 under 71 in his first round.

Bubba 2 Under at WGC Cadillac
