Bulldogs Continue Fall Schedule In Tennessee

The Georgia men’s golf team will continue the fall portion of its schedule next week in the Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate at The Grove in Tennessee.

Fresh off a runner-up finish in The Carmel Cup in California, the No. 9 Bulldogs will play Sunday through Tuesday at The Grove Club (par 72, 7,368-yard) in College Grove, Tenn.

The Bulldogs will use a lineup of seniors Jaime Lopez Rivarola and Greyson Sigg, sophomores David Mackey and Tye Waller, and freshman Spencer Ralston. Junior Zach Healy will participate as an individual. Sigg was second, Waller 10th, Ralston 11th and Healy 18th in the season-opening tournament.

Joining the Bulldogs and host Middle Tennessee State will be Cincinnati, Charleston, Elon, Kennesaw State, Louisiana, Louisville, McNeese State, Memphis, Mississippi, North Carolina State, Troy and Wisconsin.

The Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate at The Grove is entering its third year of existence. This will be Georgia’s first appearance in the event.

“We’ve heard great things about this tournament and we’re excited to be part of it this year,” Georgia head coach Chris Haack said. “The course and the field will put us to the test. That’s what the fall is about. We had a solid start in The Carmel Cup and we need to keep it rolling at The Grove.”
