Eight Bulldogs Still Alive In Playoffs

• Eight Bulldogs remained in the FedExCup Playoffs following The Barclays. Bubba Watson came in third, followed by Kevin Kisner in 20th, Brendon Todd in 24th, Brian Harman in 30th, Hudson Swafford in 50th and Russell Henley in 72nd.

The top 100 in the FedExCup Standings now advance to the Deutsche Bank Championship. Watson is No. 3, Kisner is No. 13, Chris Kirk (who did not make the cut at The Barclays) is No. 39,  English is No. 41, Todd is No. 47, Henley is No. 49, Harman is No. 62 and Swafford is No. 93.

Erik Compton had to withdraw from The Barclays due to illness and was not high enough in the standings to advance in the Playoffs.

• In case you missed it, Harman had two aces -- two -- in the final round of The Barclays.

• The Bulldogs will open the 2015-16 season on Friday in The Carmel Cup. Check back later this week for more details. Georgia is No. 11 in the Bushnell Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll released last week.

• Bryden Macpherson came in 65th and Scott Parel missed the cut in the WinCo Foods Portland Open. Neither will advance in the Web.com Tour Finals.
